Wow, what a wedding venue! Chesil House recently hosted our wedding, following a very last minute booking with only 6 weeks to plan. The venue itself is just stunning, with amazing views over the river and gorgeous private gardens which provide beautiful backdrops for photos. Karen and the team could not do more for us, during the planning stage and the actual day they ensured our wedding was just perfect. This is an exclusive hire venue, in a gorgeous location in central Winchester, and we would highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

Lovely staff and very well run
From the moment we stepped into Chesil House we knew this was the perfect setting for our Mother's funeral. Phil and Kris guided us gently through the process of arranging the service and that attention to detail made the ceremony in the Chapel just perfect and one we shall treasure. We then moved into the Gathering Room with beautiful views from the veranda onto the gardens and river below. The Little Kitchen company served us lunch whilst a discrete visual tribute reminded us all of many happy memories of a wonderful lady. Our sincere thanks to everyone who made this difficult day so special for us. Chesil House is an inspiring building and the flexibility of the layout would make it an ideal venue for other events.
Chesil House was an outstanding venue to mark an auspicious family occasion. The quality and style of the interior decoration, together with the ability to use the veranda overlooking the beautifully maintained garden and flowing water made it magical. Kris and the staff were first class and could not have been more helpful. The catering provided by The Little Kitchen Company was of an equally exceptional standard. Quite simply outstanding!
