Despite telling me the windows would be ready to pick up within 24 hours of sending me an email when I turned up at the factory they spun a story about the sub station being flooded. I kicked up a fuss as I had driven over an hour and taken a day's annual leave to pick up the windows. They went to see if they could make them that afternoon; As we went around the factory it was clear that all the machines were on, and actually the reason they hadn't made the windows was that they didn't even have the raw materials in. In the end the windows were 2 weeks late - they refused to deliver or allow me to pick up the windows on a Saturday morning so I wasted another day of annual leave.
