Terrible experience with Hamptons of Windsor. All was going well, we were informed that our offer on a purchase of a Hamptons listed property had been accepted. The next day, we were told another bidder had come in with a higher offer and we were gazumped. From then on, the communication (or lack of) from Hamptons went from bad to worse. Trying to get hold of Nick (the \Sales Manager\) was impossible. We were in a position to increase our offer to the asking price, yet could not get through to Nick who was handling this property. Multiple phone calls and messages through the Windsor office to ask him to urgently call us. We then found out the property was listed online as \under offer\, despite our intentions of beating the requested price. Dealing with Nick is something we will not forget. Perhaps some training in his communication style is required. I would highly recommend people look at other estate agents in the area.
We had a positive experience from start to finish with Hamptons. Nick, Lilly and David did a great job at not only securing a buyer for our property, but also negotiating on the property we were hoping to buy. Communication was good throughout and the process went as smoothly as it could. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hamptons Windsor.
