Went for the vegetarian prosecco afternoon tea over the valentines day weekend. The staff were amazingly helpful and really communicative about my order - they couldn't do enough to help and did a brilliant job of making it feel special. Very safe getting the food and it was all delicious and extremely generous for the price! Couldn't recommend more

First time visiting & was very impressed. Food was delicious and so were cocktails. Waited on by the delightful Robin Keeling, who usually works in Liverpool but luckily not tonight. He went the extra mile & couldn't do enough to ensure we had a wonderful time!!
It was our first time visiting Silk Rd and it honestly didn’t disappoint. We ordered 5 dishes between 2 of us - each dish equally as good. Honestly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Lovely atmosphere and staff were so helpful and friendly! 100% visit again.
My first visit to this establishment. It was a bit of a strange entrance the person behind the desk with a chef uniform on was kind of not the friendliest. The situation was rescued with the polish server and manager. The rest of our experience was delightful. We got twelve dishes and three G&T's which cost 100. I've heard that this establishment was expensive. You can decide on the price. I can tell you the food was of excellent quality and I look forward to my return. Highly recommended!!! My second visit some two weeks later was a disaster, as my wife, daughter and I were Christmas shopping in Chester and choose to drive to Heswall for a meal at Silk Road. Four out of the nine dishes were very poor and we subsequently left the over cooked chicken goujon, and sweet and sour dishes. On a 50/50 basis and this place ain't cheap I'm reluctant to go back. One excellent meal the other poor and 142 spent on two visits. I'll let you guys know if we return!!!
