Only Gave 1 star as it's no longer in operation and is now a small housing estate in a picturesque village. That will start losing its character.. residents should be ashamed to have the stables and the cattery closed down..

Woodville was recommended by a friend and after having used them for the past 2 years for all of our holidays I can completely see why! My two dogs love it there! I truely felt comfortable leaving them there from the first time I visited.

I have boarded my cats here numerous times, the staff are polite, helpful and lovely. I am more then happy with the care that my cats received when I handed them to Woodville. I will not be putting my cats anywhere else when I go on holiday. I am thinking of getting a puppy and would be more then confident in boarding him/her here. xxx

I am a final year veterinary student and I found Woodville to have unacceptable knowledge gaps in basic animal husbandry, a total disregard to animal welfare needs and an appalling attitude when I raised concerns - I tried to show Woodville the Animal Welfare Act when they wouldn't accept my welfare concerns but they point blank refused to look at it and told me the legislation didn't matter to them. The staff were not appropriately trained and I had to explain basic concepts in relation to feedstuffs. They have a yard of empty stables they can't fill despite many of the neighbouring yards having long waiting lists - in hindsight this should of been a massive red flag to me. In response: I had to move my horse because his basic welfare needs were being compromised. You should have either rectified this or accepted you could not meet the welfare requirements and returned my deposit. Instead you refused to accept the Animal Welfare Act was of any importance - I find that incredibly concerning as that Act should be paramount to any business providing care of animals.

Loving the work that's been done to the kennels. They have been refurbished to a high standard and Millie (my dog) loves coming which always makes it easier leaving her! I feel she gets well looked after and I am happy with her being in Woodvilles care. Thank you for having us!

Absolutely appalling. 2 cats have gone missing from here, escaped. A dog mauled to death, resulting in 1 being put down. A total of 4 losses there !!

Great kennels, we used Woodville this weekend for our 65kg Mastiff and he was very well looked after, happy yet tired when he got home. Would recommend & will use again.
