This place is not only beautiful from the outside but beautifully decorated inside with brilliant art work. They have pop up shops and stunning food upstairs and art courses downstairs. The food and service was spot on. I had the mushrooms my partner hat feta and avocado both were absolutely gorgeous and presented well. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed and tasty lunch. Friendly service and management can't wait to back.

Short visit but found some batts of felting wool that had to come home with me. The staff are very friendly knowledgeable and always have some lovely knitting wools and felting merino wools in. Enjoyable visit
What an exciting creative environment for anybody even mildly interested in woolly things. Specialising in locally sourced artefacts, from handwoven and hand knitted items, local artwork to high quality yarns, including those from extremely local small flocks of rare breeds.. If you're lucky you may even meet the shepherdess when they pop in. You will be warmly greeted by the resident weaver and owner Mistress Wiseheart, aka Kate, or her daughter the amazing Wild Spinster, aka Annie, whose prowess with the dyepot is inspiring, and offers a one-off custom dye service for any of the natural local yarns. Perfect for that special item. Don't forget to look on the blackboard for the unusual variety of creative courses that are also on offer. Well worth a visit. Plus accompanying husband's & friends not so into woolly indulgence can pop upstairs to the Pear Tree Cafe, while you linger at your leisure and quiz the expert knowledge of Kate & Annie.
