Appalling road surface between tollbooth and Bridge, cyclists and motorcyclists should take care! Has been like this for at least six months and owners of bridge are not taking any responsibility of care.

A curiosity on the road. A toll bridge that was built privately in the 1700's . Never taken into public ownership. 5p per car must surely cost as much to collect as it raises. Bikes and walkers free, and the tollbooth was unoccupied when we passed on a wet afternoon.
