Food was ok, service charge was added automatically (why, giggling squid, do you assume that service will be worth tipping?). My food item was a bit too sweet and not hot enough. Great selection of Thai beers though.
Excellent Thai restaurant, great staff and good attentive service. Great selection and quite authentic food and drink. Decor a bit bland but overall a busy and bubbling place I would return
The best Thai food I've experienced in England. I live in Thailand so tend not to eat Thai food when in England, knowing I will be disappointed. The Giggling Squid Wokingham has proved the exception. After discovering it this summer, I have taken friends back there on three occasions. I was disappointed by my one evening visit. It was much busier than the afternoon and too noisy as it filled up., Obviously a popular choice. During the afternoon, it's much quieter, plus the afternoon menu is less expensive and in my opinion better. It's a large, bright restaurant with pleasant staff, and I can't recommend it more - but do go in the afternoon, unless you like crowds and noise.
Takeaway is the worst for this restaurant! When you dine inside the food is lovely...if you order for delivery its more often than not incorrect and missing items.You cannot rectify it because the restaurant work through deliveroo and ask you to deal with them directly. Currently sat with a Thai Curry and no rice - yum!
