My mum has sadly just died, but she spent a very happy 3 years at Abbeyfield Winnersh. When she was mobile she loved being able to walk out into the garden from her room, whenever she wanted. She was always well cared for and the staff really tried to adapt to her changing needs. What always struck visitors was that the lounges where like any lounge in a private house, there were a variety of activities to suit all tastes and generally a very happy environment

An Exceptional home providing Exceptional care. I have found the ethos of the home offers dignity and compassion to the residents at all times. A custom built home for Dementia sufferers provides, in my opinion, the highest level of care at time when the residents most need it . I am so please we found Abbeyfield to me my mothers home for her later years, she has loved it there.
We truly could not have found a care home to look after my mother that was any better than Abbeyfield Winnersh. She is loved and looked after so very well. She treated with such dignity and respect. Abbeyfield is mum’s warm, comfortable home not just her “care home” Thoroughly recommend!
Paul is well cared for and happy.The staff are wonderful, very caring and supportive of clients and their families. The rooms are lovely and everywhere is clean and light. The activities are excellent and tailored to individuals. Overall a happy relaxed atmosphere and I would recommend Abbeyfield highly.
I have looked at other care homes in the area and Abbeyfield is the best for my Mum with caring, attentive and proactive staff. I love the warm welcome making it easier to visit and my Mum can walk anyway in the home or garden when she wants. The talented activities team arrange fun and interesting things to do, including theme days to give the home a different feel for the residents and we, the relatives, are welcome to join in; its just a shame I am at work! There are regular relatives meetings and should you need any support, the lovely staff or support group meetings are there to help.
