Took wife to A&E at 4 pm today (23/03/21) after she had a heavy fall whilst we were doing a rough woodland walk. We experienced a first class, caring, professional service. Booked in immediately (no queue when we arrived which obviously helped matters). X-rays taken and a badly broken shoulder ball joint identified (Humeral fracture I think it was referred as). Everyone we came into contact with from the front desk, then radiology through to being fitted with a sling were brilliant. Hope that the follow-up treatment/care is as good. We left the A&E dept. a little under two and a half hours after arriving. Many Thanks New Cross.

4 (FOUR) hours waiting for first triage, with no service and no information. Gave up and went home... 3rd (and last) time I come to this "emergence" service. Same as all previous... It's been 2h I've been told I'm "the next in the list". This is just disrespectful.

I was seen in A/E very quickly by really lovely staff ,who sent me to urgent care and this is where problems started ,there is nothing urgent about it a snotty reception, with only 1 dr on so myself and many others are sitting here in lots of pain They see you in the order you arrive as well . THIS IS NOT URGENT CARE

After 2 hours of waiting together with 2 more people no one came to see us. Absolutely no sense of emergency.

I've spent many of years in hospital really ill and in over 30 years C16 in this hospital is the worst ward I've ever stayed on. The staff think they are prison officers, They are so rude, speak to you with attitude and like your rubbish, Not a single nurse on C16 has anyone sympathy or a caring bone on her body. Shameful
