Lovely privately run museum. It has a cafe, and loos! It is run by some lovely volunteers, who are very engaging and knowledgeable. All the displays are clean tidy and well cared for. They have a lot of information and original artefacts. We'll definitely be going again!

A labour of love from a highly dedicated team of enthusiasts has helped keep this historically significant WW2 airfield in existence for future generations to see. Some excellent items on display, fascinating buildings to explore and extraordinary stories to discover. Well worth a visit. If possible, ask one of the volunteers to give you a tour - they have incredible things to tell you which can bring the exhibits to life. We took a picnic, but there's a nice little coffee shop on site too.

What a wonderful collection. Went with a group and had a great time. You could easily spend 3-4hours plus here. It's a fantastic collection of memorabilia relating to the airfield in ww2. Very interesting, and a credit to the volunteers.
