I received a voucher for a free cup of tea at the National Trust with my birthday card and signed in to get the unique code. Filled in all the details as requested and could not proceed because I did not enter 'a valid surname'!!! My surname is certainly 'valid'. It is has been in my family for a number of generations and is the one that appears on my passport and other official documentation. How dare you tell me it is not valid!!! I have telephoned the National Trust - I am a member - and told them about it in no uncertain terms. Edward Llewellyn-Jones, Ph.D.
