Been before and was just as perfect the first time, no grease just good fish and chips and clean seating areas. Highly recommended

l have not used wood's for about a year due to it being expensive and there is better fish and chips near by. However lunch time on 7/4/16 l though l'd give it another try. Small chips open .. price board said 1.70 assistant charged 1.90. l pointed out that the price advertised was cheaper, she said it was because l had to pay for a polystyrene container. When l said l wanted them in paper she refused to let me have them open. So l had to get them wrapped and then open them out side the shop. The assistant was very grumpy and this experience has made my mind up not to use this shop ever again. Maybe Mr Woody give your staff a lesson in manners and customer service.

Visited the chippy today and never have I experienced such rudeness towards staff.. the young girl who is pregnant was talking to the other staff as if they were something nasty she had stood in.. she was very unfriendly.. this is the second time I have visited the chippy Since they took over from woodys and was very impressed first time around, however this girl wasn't present on that occasion and the food was lovely... today thou they wasn't so good the fish was thin n tasteless n the chips were cold and scrappy but the girls attitude will make sure I do not return.. shocking

I did not like your food it was far from eatable it was horrendous and to be safe and not to get food poisoning i will stick to the best of the best lakis fish bar.

Not very nice chips are like eating cardboard I don't Mind paying high for quality but these are not worth free too scared to try the fish
