Can't get through on the phone to speak to anyone. Completely inefficient.

All the staff are incredibly helpful- entrance security, help desk, barristers- the lot The place opens at 0830 but sessions start at 10 so not much point coming too early unless you need advice or something. If you're going to view public gallery, may as well show up either 09:50am, look at the boards in the main hall and it'll tell you what's going on in which courtroom. Also, no phones, food or drink allowed in court rooms, so if you're drinking or on your phone in public gallery you might get everyone else in the gallery booted out too. Court room one has a very traditional style, could do with a fresh coat of varnish in some places. Court room three is a bit more modern but you can hardly see anything from the public gallery sitting down. Bring change if you want to get a coffee or something without leaving, cos the Costa across the road serves at a snail's pace.
