Highly recommend The Gourmet Chef. We used them for our Wedding day and the food was utterly amazing. We chose to have canapes and also a BBQ wedding breakfast with deserts. Food played a pretty central role at our wedding and Gourmet Chef were fantastic. We met with Charlotte who was amazing in helping us work out our unusual menu arrangements. We opted for the roast meat board for our wedding breakfast, which meant 4 of our guests got to 'play' chef (hat and all) and take charge of carving, which they loved. We also had a great afternoon tea with a 'pimp your prosecco' station which our guests thoroughly enjoyed. Charlotte and Justin were so well organised on the day and kept everything running perfectly. They are regulars at Brookfield Barn so they fit in seamlessly. We had the pizza van in the evening which went down a storm! It was snowing and we still had a queue of guests lining up. It was genuinely some of the best wood-fired pizza I have eaten! If you are foodies like us, go with Gourmet Chef!

We just recently used Gourmet Chef for our wedding and they were fantastic. Caroline was brilliant to work with to get everything organised and Justin and the team were superb on the day. So many comments from guests about the delicious food, generous portions, great fun with the carvers. Pizza van was a really big hit and we also had a cheese tower which I'm sad I didn't get to try as it had all gone by the time I got to it, everyone said the cheese selection was brilliant!

After having a major issue with the first caterer we opted for, Justin met with us and completely put us at ease. He cooked for us while we waited in the offices and sat with us to go through every part of the day. He and his team are simply phenomenal, all the veggie options, allergy-specific guest requests and everything else was spot on and they provided us with everything we wanted from our caterers. The pricing was very fair, with great food to match. Sausage and Mash and the salted caramel dessert was out of this world and we are both so happy we chose them to cater our wedding. You can’t go wrong with this lot, high class and quality throughout. Thanks for making our day that extra bit special.

The Gourmet Chef recently did the food for our wedding day. We had an idea in our head but they surpassed our expectations again and again. All our guests won't stop talking about the beef and how amazing it was and how they were chasing the staff down to get there hands on more canapes. All the staff were so professional and well organised and worked so hard. The speed that they got the room changed over was incredible. The team played a big part in the smooth running of the day. Finally there was no detail to small that your staff didn't help with. We found out last that one of our guests announced they didn't like chocolate as the desserts came out. The team made her a slate of three Eaton messes (instead of the dessert trio) in the shape of snails i think!? Anyway she hasnt stopped telling people about this, I think it may have been the highlight of her day. What I am trying to say is The Gourmet Chef helped make so many people who are special to us feel special too! We couldn't have wanted for more.
