We rented a picnic launch for 4 hours - competitive price, will seat up to 9 I think. Had a small sink and a double gas hob (we didn’t use that, so gas was switched off for us) and best of all a small toilet. Staff. Very friendly and helpful, made sure our life jackets fitted. Our boat was easy to operate, all the kids had a go. We managed 18 miles in the time allocated. One thing I hadn’t considered, the boats make a noise. So nice as it is chugging along, you can’t hear much outside the boat unless its switched off. 4 hours was. Perfect time for the kids without them getting bored. Was very easy to find as your enter Wroxham. We parked in one of Roys car parks and had a short walk to the launch site. I had booked a week in advance, you can’t book on website currently but phone booking was very easy and probably better that doing long internet form filling!

Great boats, the simple controls are easy to master, although difficult to keep to 4mph when only display is in rpm!
A great day out on a picnic boat on the Norfolk Broads. Got some lovely photos and we all had a go at steering the boat. The only 2 issues I had was that with other companies they physically show you how to steer the boat, stop and moor up before letting you loose. These didn't. Also the ropes to tie the boat to were incredibly short. Not really long enough to do a proper job trying up.
From arrival to departing, staff were brilliant. Used them 6 years ago with our daughter's and still the same friendly family service. Boats easy to use with full instructions given, who could have asked for more. Thankyou see you again soon.
Friendly staff and good prices. We took a launch for a couple of hours, taking advantage of the arrive between 9 and 10am offer.
Fantastic boat hire company and would highly recommend. They managed to accommodate me, five kids, a mother in law, wife and three dogs on a hire boat and couldn't have been more helpful. We've hired out quite a few day boats on the broads but these are by far the best and very competitive in price. Will definitely be using again
Brilliant few hours on the beautiful Broads, Wroxham Launch Hire were great and there is a large free car park just around the corner off Station Road where as the car park at Broad Tours is a high priced pay and display. If you are just after a day boat, I recommend Wroxham Launch Hire.
On arrival on a cloudy, misty morning both members of staff seemed reluctant to hire me a boat for the day. After an awkward start the chap was fine. The boat was great - we had a great day. On our return the lady was rude and grumpy. I certainly won’t use them again - there are other boat hire places very close by.
