A pretty ruthless industry, in the business of catching out first time importers. Make sure you get a full and elaborate quote well ahead of your shipment being shipped from the port of departure so that you get the best deal. That way you’re getting a reasonable quote. If you are caught out, and don’t have a pre-arranged agreement with detailed costs of your ‘service’, you’re in for a shock and will be paying for far more than just customs. Make sure you are ready to pay your own taxes directly to Hmrc. My declared value of goods was 7k usd and I paid 6k usd in fees to get my goods.

Be aware!!! Very disappointed ' very dishonest company. They sent invoice of custom and VAT charges (scam and excessive) . Before pay any custom and tax check on government website. When I contacted with Sarah she said I have submitted your file for custom so if want to cancel your custom clearance but you have to pay our charges which is I paid to yes2ship and cancel my submission. I again submitted my file from uniexpress they are very honest ' they charged me just 35 for custom and 105 for delivery also they gave me reference number for custom and vat so I paid by BACS my self as I wanted.
