Great place, making such an effort to keep the park open during Covid. Staff friendly and nothing too much trouble.

My husband and I have been here many times with our granddaughter and we love it. Plenty of animals to see. Beautiful wildlife walk. Good size play park for the children. Lots of picnic areas although there is a cafe on sight. Good facilities for the disabled. Would highly recommend and I'm sure once you have been you will definitely go back possibly more than once.

Beautiful little wildlife and conservation park just off the A64. Not on the scale of some other parks but absolutely worth the visit. Excellent entry protocol given the current COVID restrictions in place. We had to text a number on arrival, and wait for the ok to enter. This was a trouble free and dead easy experience and the lady on the desk was really friendly and helpful. We followed a one way route around the park and got a good viewing of all the animals. The park is set out beautifully and well staffed, and we will definitely return again. Entry price was worth the 6.95 per adult we paid. I hope the park continues to grow.

Really enjoyed this park, even with the current Covid Restrictions! The admission price and price of Food&Drink was reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were actually more animals than I thought there would be and they all looked really happy and well looked after. The Kookaburra's were really entertaining! The play park was a decent size and there were plenty of picnic benches to eat lunch on too. Definitely recommend and will visit again!

What a great place. You could spend a day here as there are lots of talks and meet the animals. Really well laid out; nicely planted; pram and wheelchair friendly; car park and overflow car park; café; shop and toilets. Critters from tiny frogs, little beetles, wallabies, they're all here. If you want to see the York Falconry birds, there is an additional fee to pay of 2 for adult, 1 for child. They are a separate entity to the Park. At first I wasn't sure about it but then had the opportunity to have Bubbles the owl on my hand - amazing. Really well worth going to this site. The unicorn cake in caff was surprisingly nice, wasn't so keen on the large biscuit as it was soft and bendy. I shall be revisiting.
