The car at this location at time of review is a red Ford that I've used several times. For driving around the city it's fine. When I took it on a longer trip along the motorway to Scarborough it struggled massively going uphill and accelerating to overtake on the motorway. So if you want a car for a few hours to get around York it's fine but if you're driving to another town I would choose one of their other locations.
