Sorry to say but wanted to get some info re white cladding today and called into the office where no one was there, but rang bell for attention, I tried he bell 7 times no response, Thatwas over 10 minutes.There were two guys loading material and stacking them on the shelving, they heard my ring they were 8 metres away I could see them and allowing for their task they completely ignored me. I left very frustrated, and i was not allowed to go anywhere else but the office!! Really disappointed as they knewI was there, but no more your companies chance of completing a deal have gone. Not the best way is it to make your living by staff purposely ignoring customers.
I normally use the scarborough branch who are very helpful. I went to eurocell york to get the boys that scarborough didn’t have. When i got there i spoke to the guy on the desk and asked if he could give me the discount that scarborough gave me. He replied with no sorry i can’t give any discount as only the manager can do that and he’s gone for his lunch. The guy was very recognisable as he had a liverpool accent.We got our stuff and that was that. The next day when we opened our soffit board up it was the wrong colour. I rang eurocell york and spoke to a different guy who was more helpful but said i tell you what il put you onto my manager. This is where it gets good. The guy had a liverpool accent lol. I said you served me didn’t you and he said yes. I asked him why he lied about being the manager and he was speechless. I’ve not even bothered taking the bits back and changing them yet because of this guys actions. He was passive aggressive, rude and obnoxious. It’s a shame because i probably spend 2000 a month at these stores paying the so called managers wages. Just like to say scarborough are very helpful and i will not use eurocell york ever again. Beware of this guy if you use this store.
