Took my bike here for the first time a couple years ago. Another shop in york had tried to sell me a 150 hub because they said my old one was not fixable. Evans Cycles at Monks Cross then fixed it for 20! Been going to evans for all my bicycle needs ever since and they are fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Steve the manager is a top bloke and will jump over hurdles to help you. 110% recommend them, Very very happy customer!

Went to pick up my son's first bike. We had a wonderful experience and the gentleman that served us (think it was James B) was amazing. He was so friendly, helped us with helmets and inner tubes as well. He couldn't do enough to help my son and I. During this current new norm it was nice to meet a bunch of people who were happy and eagar to help us. Even the guys fixing the bikes were chatting to us. When this is all over we will most certainly be going back for some accessories. Thanks guys!
