Currently in the train. Got on from Doncaster to London King X. New facility and very clean. A janitor moves every half an hour I guess to collect litter. Can charge phones, tray table available. Clean seats, even exterior including windows are clean. Very clean toilet. All station and journey information is promptly and clearly announced. Even during Covid, food bar is available. Social distancing is maintained and a seat must be reserved prior to travel. Best train in the UK I’ve been in so far. I hope rest of my journey would be this great too. On time departure in my journey.

Trains are clean and well presented. Staff are pleasant. Covid 19 measures are lacking though. Seat reservation only is a good practice in theory but when you are assigned a seat at a table and someone else is on the otherside it feels very unsafe as you are sharing a surface. Equally the carriages themselves do not have windows so ventilation is an issue when it comes to aerosol transmission risk. I felt very unsafe and self conscious while travelling particularly because I was seated at a table both journeys and the first journey the table nearest me had 2 men who couldn't wear masks properly or chose not to for the full journey. Staff said nothing to them.

Comfortable service. Ok food. Reasonably clean although my table hadn't been cleared when I sat at my seat despite staff with telly standing 2 chairs away, I had to ask her to clean the messy table which she did. Small space for my case but I managed. Charging point at my table. Well lit cabins and all on perfect time.

Booked a table seat, got a normal seat. Spaced out for covid but that meant 2 of us from same household were meant to sit in separate seats. If 2 tickets booked at the same time from same card then surely we could sit together. We did anyway. When we enquired about the table seat we were told its the luck of the draw due to covid. Excuse me I booked a table ffs. Everything's covids fault. We all behaved ourselves on the way to England from Scotland, all 5 in the carriage wearing our masks but on the way back it was very busy and most weren't wearing masks in their seats and coughing but rail staff were not enforcing the mandatory face mask wearing rule. If I get it I know where from .
