Went to the Hallowtween scare fest and the kids loved it. Our kids are 10 and 12 and both loved it. The characters that walk about to amuse/scare you are great. I can highly recommend this place.

Great place, fun for all the family. 2 hours is the perfect amount of time. The actors are amazing and the attractions are great too. Will definitely be back
This was our second time at the Hallotween event and we were not disappointed. Clearly the number of visitors allowed had been reduced, staff were constantly cleaning the toilets & frequent touch areas, and hand santiser walkways available, so we felt very COVID safe. Even the scare actors were able to carry on doing what they did best, just from a distance. The addition of the Flesh Pot room this year was appreciated. A fantastic option for those, not quite ready for the full adult event, but too old for kids parties/trick or treating etc. It's nice to have something aimed at this age group, and glad to see the number kids below 10 year old was much lower this year. Would highly recommend. Well done York Maze!
Fantastic place with loads to do. You don't be bored! Best thing is the maze itself is only a small part of the venue. It's got slides, climbing wall, birds of prey, pig racing! The staff were so energetic and great with the kids. The indoor illusions are superb. The weird gravity room is an extremely strange experience!
Lots of time spent in queues, the place was overcrowded. I think it too pricey as everytime you go to do something there's loads of people waiting and the mini golf was packed. People waiting and felt presssured to move on to finish. Looks ran down in areas too. Loads of gaps in the maze where the maize should have been, and kids were running through it, a couple of worried parents looking for kids that had ran off. We will not return.
