Only been in twice before, both at the previous location. Was initially disappointed to find it 'gone', happy to realise it had just relocated. York used to have an absolute plethora of music shops. Sadly, no longer the case. One out of town warehouse. One (not too bad), chain. One privateer, that barely opens. This place is a breath of fresh air! Knowledgeable, not pushy. Picking up a looper in the morning. Can't wait.

A little hidden in a sense as the first thing you see instead of a guitar shop sign is the e-cig signage. However, you can find some fairly good guitars here for cheap. Staff are polite and are willing to help given your request is within reasonable measures
Great shop owner and tech, good prices, very friendly and helpful. Genuinely nice people would not hesitate to buy a guitar from here again, they go above and beyond.
I can't speak for the e-cig products but as a guitar store this is about as inviting and friendly as they come. There's a great variety of fairly priced guitars and amplifiers and a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and insightful. I highly recommend anyone with even a passing interest in guitars to drop in and check it out themselves.
Fantastic treasure trove of a shop. You never know what you might find. Friendly and none pushy. Plenty of good advice and happy to let you look and play the instruments. Would highly recommend
