The steaks are nice but seriously guys it’s just grilled steak or a lamb chop if you’re feeling ‘adventurous’. A little boring and basic in my opinion I ordered the 36 oz steak to share with my partner and it was what I expect steak to taste like. Good seasoning which accompanies the steak well but it’s very basic and can be made at home with a grill.

Nice steakhouse in the middle of York. The venue is decorated in a lively, modern style, with a really good bar selection and impeccable service. Likewise, food was really well cooked and served, at a very reasonable price per quality rate. In the photos I have attached the starter, mussels served in white wine sauce (which although were served as a portion for one person the quantity was enough for two) and main dishes, full rack of baby back pork ribs and 10oz beff sirloin, both with sides of chips, but also available with a great selection of other sides as well.
Food was amazing will definitely return. Cocktails very good. Very reasonably priced.... only downside is the slow service and twenty minute wait to get seated even though we booked online. Will be returning.
An immaculate dining experience. Fantastic food and drinks, great price. Attentive staff and made to feel welcomed and catered for in all aspects. Gorgeous decor and amazing atmosphere. Cant wait to return. Keep up the good work the best place I have been in York so far
Visited here on a late Saturday afternoon, we didn't have a table booked but they seated us straight away and they were really busy!! Really nice ales, great vibe and atmosphere!! Service was really speedy and they did a great job with social distancing. Food was delicious, we ordered ribeye steaks, cooked really well, lovely sides. Livia was our server and she was brilliant!! Really attentive, lovely, smile always on her face!!! Will definitely return, and the pricing is pretty much spot on!!
