We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Hospitium on 26th May 2018. It was THE perfect venue and setting. From the very first informal discussions with the wedding coordinators through to the big day, we were impressed with their friendly and professional approach. The day itself ran seamlessly, the food and service from Bradshaws were exquisite and we enjoyed every single minute with not a hint of stress throughout. The Museum Gardens provided a stunning backdrop to proceedings and photographs. I would highly, highly recommend The Hospitium as a wedding venue. I just wish we could do it all again!

This mysterious building was one of the abbey's support buildings, its purpose however is not known. It is definitely worth visiting the park where the building stands from the 14th century.

The Hospitium. Lovely venue. My daughter just got married here recently. Loads of history. Would highly recommend this for any future weddings. Good staff with lots of experience. A great day was had by all. Bliss.

There is always trepidation about booking a wedding venue. We’ve all heard the stories about venues adding extra zeroes when they hear the word ‘wedding’ and it being a battle to make any changes. Lucky for us, the Hospitium was the complete opposite! We kept finding more wonderful things that were included that we never knew about, security guards, setting up the venue, packing up, managing the music and the list goes on. Jessica etc. etc. ran the day perfectly, they couldn’t be That’s before we even begin to describe how beautiful, charming and individual the Hospitium is. Beautifully situated in the Museum Gardens, our guests commented on how special the walk through the Gardens was. It was the most special backdrop we could have imagined, for our special day. And without the extra zeroes!
