Used to be very busy on a Saturday with a nice variety of stalls from fruit and sweets to kid toys. I'm very sorry to say it is now a cold and barren looking place. It looks like a carboot sale where only 3 people turned up. I was told by the hairdresser this is all the council's fault. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Disgusting.

This used to be such a nice place. Now I feel it's a place I don't want to bring my family. Has an unsafe feeling and alot of shops have closed down. They need to get some security to wake around and get rid of the trouble makers and drunks and make it great for all the people in Blyth paying their taxes and just wanting a clean and safe place to shop.

It has a market that is on Fri, Sat and wed. Council could help to try getting more traders there. They were improving the place by moving the traders onto a car park were longer than were supposed to be putting ground with water fountains the time they used them they flooded down bottom of the market square. Blyth hasn't much attraction empty shops if you need a hair cut plenty barbers and hairdresser. Even banks are disappearing very disappointing.

Trying to be positive with this one is difficult as the market is almost non-existent now. A lot of empty shops, but still, a clean town centre with a close-knit community trying to make it a better place.

Good market for a cheap bike and some odd knik nacks. It's good because it's regular and predictable. But not all that big
