This shop is amazing, i am so proud to say that this is the best fish and chips shop I’ve ever been to. The pizza is well cooked as well as the fish. The boss and workers are all amazing and helpful, their always smiling! I will always come to this fish and chips shop and I recommend to anyone, thank you for the amazing food!!!

This place is an Edinburgh institution, i remember going to this fish and chip shop when i was just a kid and now i take my kids. The new owners recently taken over are doing a great job, the food is lovely and i think it is worth mentioning that the oil they use does not leave that taste in your mouth like some other fish and chip take always use. We got fish and chips and a pizza supper last night and it was the best of this type of take away i have had in many years. Would highly recommend and cant wait to go back.

Good local fish and chip shop, fast friendly service. Conveniently located near an off-licence with a large range. enough on street parking if you need to drive there. Traditional fish and chip menu plus a range of pizzas and burgers. I have always been served within about five minutes. Call ahead if you have a big order.

Daughter and I fancied a bag of chips so decided to give this a try. In short? Bad. Shockingly bad. Soggy, oily, stale and lukewarm. It had a bad aftertaste suggesting the oil had not been changed in a while. Service was bad - no smiles, and I seemed a burden to them for even coming in the shop! Please avoid this and travel a little further to a decent chippy - there's many up Morningside and Bruntsfield. If you want a really good one, my favourite is Fat Tony's in Mayfield Road.

The best chips I have had in Edinburgh. Very tasty batter also, the fish looked fantastic. Somewhat cheaper than other local chip shops, and a very broad menu. Service was a little slow as they were waiting for more Chips, but I don't mind too much as it meant they were fresh. Keen to go again soon.
