Had a lovely afternoon birthday surprise for my auntie, and they met every need. Great selection of tea and having more of the food if we wanted too.

Friendly and attentive service, really well cooked and delicious food, although they don't take amex, but that was the only disappointment.
This self proclaimed 'British' restaurant has a healthy dash of French inspiration to their tasty menu. The seafood here in particular was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and the waiting staff were lovely and attentive. A little expensive, but worth it.

Two big problems going on here, unfortunately. Firstly, pricing versus what ends up on your plate - my 8.75 Prawn Cocktail starter literally consisted of five or six small (suspect defrosted) prawns, on a bed of shredded iceberg, couple of toms, a single sliver of avocado and a large dollop of sauce. (I am not exaggerating). The steak was reasonably OK, but for 22 quid you'd expect it to be really good. Second issue was the glacial pace of service - bearing in mind we all ordered simple stuff, waiting 30 minutes between courses seems too much to ask. A pity.
Ate there yesterday with a friend. Very pleasant atmosphere. Service was very friendly, and the manager went above and beyond to cater to my dietary requirements. Good variety on the menu, food was cooked to perfection and portions were of a proper size. Would absolutely go there again and recommend it to anyone looking for good British food.
We've been to Coppers on quite a few occasions - it's without doubt the best restaurant in Beckenham by such a long way and we've tried them all. Jamie is always the perfect host, his team are so friendly and we always feel so relaxed and welcome every time. The food & service are always spot on and it's rare to find a business owner so customer focused down to the smallest detail - & yet Jamie still has plans to make even more improvements. We'll be back with again this week. 5 Stars all the way !
Great atmosphere for talking, good decor and table layout - excellent food and even Wednesday special offers on steak! Our food was delicious and exciting. Will try again - there was a supervised trainee serving us and that was well managed.
