Myself and a group of 20 people celebrated my Birthday last yer at this restaurant. The staff was extremely helpful going above and beyond their duty to make our evening an enjoyable and pleasant time. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was authentic and tasty. A very, very nice evening. A star!! Il be looking t go back this year if were allowed for sure

I admire this place! They serve splendid food, they have a nice menu, The chef in that spot is very experienced, I love very much tasting all their food. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is helpful. I often eat in this place and I was never discontended. I recommend it with no hesitation.
I booked this for my partners Birthday. A lovely restaurant. Food was fabulous. Had chicken wing starter and the curried mutton for main. Both was mouth watering good. Definitely will be returning
Located in the middle of the Jewellery Quarter, The Devon House is a nice looking restaurant with very welcoming staff. My group ordered a variety of main courses from the restaurant menu and everyone was pleased with their meals, especially the Curried Mutton. My dish of Brown Stew Chicken tasted a little bland but I still cleared my plate. The staff were helpful and never too far away when we needed them. The beers were standard price for a typical restaurant and the prices for the main courses are roughly 10 - 15. Parking near to the Devon House will cost you if it is before 6pm, apart from Sundays. One major problem they need to address is the difference between the online and restaurant menu. Many of the meals only appear online and can only be pre-ordered. For example, Curried Goat appears on the online menu but Curried Mutton appears on the paper menu. Pre-ordering may give you more of a choice but many people don’t know what they want to eat until the day of the reservation. Overall, The Devon House was nice afternoon that I’m hoping to repeat sometime in the future. One request before I return, could you please put a lock on the door to the ladies’ toilet please?
Had a lovely meal with family, and the staff and ambiance was lovely. Very helpful staff service with a smile. Covid regulations in place but still felt comfortable. Food was lovely and I am not a mutton eater but I tried my friends. Let's say I gotta go back just to have mutton tasted devine. Very tender and flavourful. Lovely music in background. Really enjoyed my time there highly recommend.
Fairly busy and still had fast service. Food was excellent however for me the Mutton portion size was a little small. The spicy wings were not spicy at all, I may have received the wrong ones but I never said anything as they were still very nice. Overall had a great experience of Devon House.
The food is great, almost as good as my moms cooking. Staff are nice. Good location also with free parking after 7pm
