Absolutely shocking service. We pre booked afternoon tea and we had a person in our group of 3 with dietary requirements. You would expect that when there is a set menu the food would be prepared beforehand and that they would be ready for the dietary requirements. However it took us over 50 minutes to get our afternoon tea during which multiple people walked out as they hadn't been served in a timely manner. We only did not leave as we had already pre paid. The restaurant was not even busy and it was swarming with staff that looked like they had no clue what they were doing. Once we got our afternoon tea most items were stale, despite being told the wait was because it was being made fresh. I do not recommend coming here purely for how bad the service was, however the below average food was also a massive letdown.

Average food, very overpriced and had exceptionally slow and poor service even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Failed to even prepare a basic caesar salad. Burger was fine if a little basic. Desert was the only saving grace, although did take 1 hour 45 to get two courses.

lovely food and drinks. Even better that the staff are wonderful. Very comfortable and good ambience. We don't normally eat in hotels but this is an exception to the rule.
