Love love love the outdoor pool. Only downside is that it's not open enough of the year! It does get very busy (in non-covid times) on sunny days - particularly on weekend/school holidays! Wouldn't try lane swimming then. But it's great :D

Supposedly they are open, but you still cannot get in because you have to book line swimming a week in advance. The pool was almost empty and they still do not let people in. Ridiculous rules!

Really nice area, not only to swim in but also the park that’s all around it. When it’s summer and. Lovely day, get in early or there will be at least a 30 minute wait to get in. But once in you can leave and come back very easily.

Hinksey Pool is far and away the best and warmest pool in Oxford. Its pleasant to swim in regardless of the weather and a real gem of Oxford city. The changing cubicles old fashioned and cleaned beautifully this year. A gorgeous setting - what's not to like?

Unconventionally shaped pool with roped off area for children. Quite modern and thankfully not overly heated for serious swimmers. As with anywhere in central Oxford, parking is very limited, but is very well served by efficient park and ride service. Sunbed/deckchair hire is extra. Situated in picturesque park, with large grass area for sunbathing.
