A well run animal park where the animals have good space to move and are well looked after. It's not the biggest of places so is manageable for little legs. The kids especially loved the baby primates and the rhinos. We were fortunate enough to see the gorillas up close too. There are plenty of opportunities to spot animals up close and good visibility for kids as well as adults. Some of the enclosures require a bit of luck, e.g. we had to return to the gorillas to see them as they were at the back initially, and the walkway around them is closed. As it's not that big a site it's feasible to go back to something to see if they've woken up! We visited during Covid and thought they managed it reasonably well. Some areas of the park were closed which is understandable, and some enclosures were empty owing to travel restrictions, but I don't think it made a difference to our experience. Only slight negative is the price. It's quite expensive as it's not quite a full day out. However, as the entry fee contributes to their conservation work I don't mind personally, but it might put some off.

We had a really good time and saw lots of animals including the baby elephants. Most of the animals were enjoying a lazy day in the sun and all the monkeys were entertaining us, many with very cute young. Some enclosures were empty but that happens at most parks so nothing that bothered us - plenty to see. The park wasn’t that busy so you worried about space and generally people observed social distancing. I am really not sure what people were complaining about as the staff were well organised and all in all an easy and enjoyable afternoon!

Great day out very well organised on entry and exit due to covid. Prices on food and drinks were way over the top however you kind of expect it. Maybe lower your prices and get more people to buy food and drink

Great place for a family outing. Quick entry. Good one way system, clean toilets and additional temporary loos around the park. Recommend booking the first slot. Arrive just after 9am. (They start allowing you in earlier) good seating and picnic areas. We left at 11am the entrance was rather busy by then, long queue to get in. Helpful, attentive staff.
