It is an interesting structure and a part of the scenery of The Leas. Unfortunately it is not in use at the moment due to the Covid19 restrictions. I have attended performances at this location over the years. The atmosphere is lovely and one can relax and enjoy the music and the wonderful views of the area. The surroundings are well maintained and the flowerbeds are so colourful.

Good day walk . Lots of stairs. If you brave.
Good for walks and the coastal park below.
A historic landmark, dating back to the late 19th Century when Folkestone was at its super-chic height. After falling into ruin and nearly being pulled down some years ago by an inept council, this landmark has since been restored. Once again you can hear the summer weekend brass bands I remember as a child in the 70s. It’s also a venue for other local music, and acts as a focal point for various summer events. A true local landmark.
Cool, stylish Edwardian landmark/community resource. Still active as band-stand.
Fantastic day out at armed forces day
This bandstand has been renovated and now fits proudly in The Lees as it has done for many decades. Concerts are performed here in the summer months and fine views across the channel can be had from this area.
Brilliant afternoon being entertained by the great Dulcettes!!
