It was a cold wet and windy day but we had a great time with the dogs. You can take several different paths through the woods and try to spot rabbits the occasional fox and many different birds both land and water birds. Many people come to jog cycle or just for a leisurely stroll along the water side and taking in the sites. It's better of course when the weather is warmer. It costs nothing give it a try you may find yourself coming back time and time again.

Lovely and wide and open , sometimes get to see boats , great for biking or jogging or walking the dogs or taking a lovely long walk and seeing some birds , and a lovely place to walk dogs and also it has a lovely little park with a pond and a cafe that does sell hot drinks and snacks through lockdown , you just can't eat inside.

Great place to go for a walk. I used to take my children there when they were toddlers and they used to love it. Now they are teenagers they still like going there for a walk. Great for dog walkers and foraging if you know what you are looking for.

Its a lovely walk with plenty to see on the river Medway. You can walk or ride for such a long way if you want or just stay near the cafe. The wind can get bracing on a windy day. When the weather is good it gets packed so try it on the not so lovely days as well. You have the cafe Focus still open in these Covid times with good prices on eating outside only and behind a lovely kids play area

A very popular park especially with families with young children and also very popular with dog owners. In the main building you'll find a café, toilets and a small visitor's attraction. Playzone for younger kids behind the main building. Limited parking on busy days. But parking is currently free! As others have said, the main paths through the park are in reasonable state for walkers, runners and cyclists but water is prone to settle on them which is great for little people in Wellingtons but less so for those of us who'd look a bit silly splashing in big puddles. Also, as others have mentioned, virtually all the dogs are off the leash. Most owners thankfully use the dog poo bins provided but some don't so just be careful to watch where you're walking/running/cycling. NB: the Sharps Green boardwalk is currently closed and judging from the state of it, it'll remain closed for some time.
