Large triangular park with play facilities for young and older children. There is a lovely cafe called The Weir which provides drinks and food, including takeaway. Park is a short walk from town centre and is just across the river from Longrun Meadow and the other nature reserves.

Well kept public open space, with children's play park and access to the Longrun Meadow. The cafe is open between 10am and 3pm serving good coffee and simple snacks. Very popular with locals.
Excellent place to visit, lovely play park next to the weir, park is great for younger and older children, or feed the ducks to, walk 2mins down towards the bridge/cafe and there is another huge space to walk/play and see wild life, well worth a visit, I can't say about the parking as we parked in town and walked to French weir,
Beautiful, especially so, after being locked down for months.
