Unfortunately this centre is now closed down, alongside the former shadsworth high school, the last reunion of staff and pupils was held last Saturday, lots of hugs and friendship rekindled, hope people take some happy memories with them.

I have been going to shadsworth for many years years, the staff have always been very conscientious and helpful. The centre itself is a disgrace, it has really gone downhill in the last year and has had no investment in years. It seems to me that the whoever runs this facility is neglecting the place on purpose......maybe they are lining it up for the expansion of the school next door, I suppose only time will tell!
Local leisure centre friendly staff with a small swimming pool, perfect time to visit is during the weekdays, you can have the entire pool to yourself. Small car park to rear and excellent changing room facilities, family friendly.
Always guaranteed a friendly service from the reception staff. It's a pity that a lot of the facilities are unavailable during the day and non existent at weekends since the much publicised budget cuts under the current government in recent years ...And people will wonder in a few years' time why the town's health and obesity problems have mysteriously deteriorated ...
Relatively small car park can have about 25 vehicles. However, has got a massive changing room facilities and a big hall for ball games. Very friendly staff members.
Clean and helpful staff. A bit tatty round the edges but does what it says on the tin. I play badminton here and nets are always in good condition and not to busy
Aging old sports centre. Could do with a revamp. From changing room to sports hall and swimming pool, all could do with more than just a lick of paint.
Fabulous gym ,lots of equipment,only 1 from 5pm till 9pm ,public swim. Is only open on certain days and is very busy
