My favourite place to be. The service matches the food and the wine list is equal. I just love coming here for the aesthetic alone, oh and the bar, did I mention the food is delightful?

All amazing apart from the cabbage and hake which was 95% cabbage and basically over priced coleslaw, so I can't give perfect 5 stars. But if you avoid that you'll have a wonderful time!
I mean, what to say about this place that hasn’t been said. Perfect menu, full of character with all the favourites. Absolutely always enjoy my time here with a lineup of what can only be described as an absolute celebration of British food. Simple beautiful ingredients. The Hereford beef perfectly pink all the way through nailed it, alongside the baked Alaska which feels like being a kid again but in the best way. Some of my favourite food memories are made here. I had the a fish dish and my partner the ox liver. I have to say it is amazing food. I am more of a meet person but the fish was perfectly cooking and the sides ans sauces great too! Dessert was a surprise as was much better then I though!
In all honesty, this place wasn’t my cup of tea - a bit too “foodie”. I’ve heard nothing but good things and the bit of food I could eat was OK, just not for me. If you’re an über foodie who is excited by the menu, go for it. Everyone else thinks it’s great! Cool setting and nice staff.
