Fabulous gardens. A haven of peace and tranquility. Really well maintained, with all sorts of interesting plants and trees from around the world. Plant sales on Saturdays in the summer. Live music on Sundays in August. Toilets open all year with an info point, a small kiosk in the summer season. Dog-free. Glasshouses with warm climate plants. Safe place to go with young children. Lots of benches to sit and pass time. Great place for photography. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the plants.

Visited this afternoon for a walk around. Beautiful calming space. Some flowers are past their best now but the beds are being prepared for the winter and spring displays that follow. Love it here ️
