We were impressed and very surprised to see such a beautifull church in the center of London! It is located less than minutes walking from Oxford Street...we were wandering around and we found this stunning old church by chance. Pity, we couldn’t see the interior because it was closed. I believe this is another real hidden gem of London! Must see!!!

Very nice environment and the people visiting the church make a the atmosphere super friendly. A big plus is given by Fr. Michael, he is very kind and nice.

I lived in the parsonage of this church in 1957 and 1958. The lady who rented out rooms in the parsonage (which had several floors of cubicles for young ladies) held seances on Sunday evenings. She was Ukrainian and brought me to weekly services in the lovely old church. I ran a travel agency called Study Abroad for Americans who wanted to travel to the UK and set up their accommodations, transportation, meals, and concerts/plays, etc. My office was two doors down from a nightclub where American actor and tango dancer George Raft was the concierge for owners, famously flipping a coin with his fingers at the door of the nightclub. The experience in this chirch is divine! The priest priechong in such vivid and wise manner and singing is second to none. Get there on a Sunday morning 10am and see for yourself.
