Came across this sweet spot when driving home from our staycay in Devon. A lovely family run tea rooms. Fabulous customer service (my fussy companions were catered for), delicious food & sizeable portions. Portions are so generous we had to have our scones as a takeaway to eat at home. They were still delicious. Thank you.

It’s a cute, cozy and home-like spot for snacks, cake a tea. They are short on staff due to social distancing so service is very slow. The owner is a lovely guy!

Stopped by here on the way back from Cornwall to London and had the cream tea. Seriously good scones, very generous with the jam and cream. The owner was super friendly telling us about all the local surroundings. Highly recommend.

Always stop here on our way to the West country. Lovely old tea shop with a modest but ample menu. A little short of items due to supply problems but was very satisfied none-the-less. An excellent stop over.

We stopped by for lunch. I had a ham ploughman’s, the ham was very good. I would have preferred that they didn’t chop the baguette up into small pieces. Would have been fine if it was with soup but it was hard to reconstruct to make into a ham baguette. Other than that small thing everything good. We had a dairy ice cream in a tub for afters.
