When Are you looking for real historic place this is waste time for you. This is historic place for people in love or someone who been here in past with his or her love one. Pictures say everything. Also it is nice walk in woods. Relaxing in the silent.

Definitely a historic place in terms of peace, tranquility and rest place for passes by. For generations people have come to this place with friends, lovers and family members. It is set in Listerdale Woodlands, a beautiful magical wood full of wild flowers such as bluebells, King buttercups, honeysuckles, Lychnis flos-cuculi and daiseys. Many chestnut trees. Wildlife includes Roe Deer, Fox, Birds, Rabbits, Squirrel to name a few. The Dalton Brook stream runs through it, some very nice paths and tracks. I first visited this place with my dad in the early 1970s, my friends throughout the 1980s/1990s and with my own children more recently. Still as beautiful today as it was in the 1970s. Most local people know of it where abouts. the carving on the tree is still clear as are the messages of young love carved into the surrounding trees. Definitely worth a walk to find and to explore the woods. Very safe and very friendly place to visit with family, friends or alone.
