Make sure you read the T&C. You can pay an insurance waiver for 24 per day (!) but his doesn't cover you for Damage to the Vehicle or third-party property Break-in or theft of the vehicle So if someone steals the van while it's parked up... you are liable. Or if someone runs into your van and drives off , you're responsible.

I can only concur with the previous poor reviews. The problem is, you pay the basic hire cost & then get hit with the bad stuff. By that time you're already committed. The van I hired was also in a poor state. It had been cleaned to a reasonable standard but the upholstery was stained & quite unpleasant. We picked it up on the Friday afternoon, intending to drive into Wales during the night. We set off at dusk but as the light faded we realised that the headlights were not working. First nigh spent on a motorway service area waiting for sunrise. Ruined our weekend break. Told the chap at the depot in Barnsley. Not bothered at all, just said 'oh sorry about that'. No offer of compensation. Then we come to the constant theme at issue here. The deposit. I waited the 28 working days (unreasonable by any standards) & then completed the deposit return link. Still no return. Spent 4 hours (another afternoon wasted) in a web chat queue to be told it had been returned 2 weeks ago. Told him that it had not. Told me to send an email (in addition to the others I had already sent). As things stand I'm still waiting for any response. Fortunately I paid the deposit by credit card so they are taking the case on for me. To summarise. The price seemed too good to be true. It was just that. Do not use this company. Pay a bit more & use a decent company. Paul

DO NOT USE !!!!, the motorhome was dirty (seats stained) 15 plate even though they had 18 plates standing there (think you have to upgrade to newer van). Upgrades are endless constant emails, very annoying. When you hire you pay rental and then you are hit with the option of a daily excess waiver or a high security deposit (1,250) which they take from your card. The excess waiver doesn't cover accidental damage (scratch's or wing mirrors or minor damage) it only covers a crash really. The costs for scratches and wing mirrors was very high, they charge for any waste water left in tank so open valve again just before returning as the drive back will have gathered some more water in the pipe. It has taken me 57days to finally get my security deposit back (should be 28 working days) you have to confirm your post hire agreement (which doesn't appear until after 28days, I found it only appeared after I asked) then request your deposit, confirm your request by responding to an email. Whilst doing this there's the 5days waiting to see if funds return and then start again. Your only contact is by online chat which doesn't always work. The whole process is one long hassle and worry!!!!!! Faults that I can remember: seats were very stained/dirty, window cracked, wardrobe door missing, driver seat belt casing missing, table fastening half broke, roof above passenger seat damaged (roughly repaired), passenger head rest broken, bumpers and bodywork scratched/dented, outside of van not cleaned, was dirty from previous hire when we picked up. We found we were embarrassed to show friend/people we met the condition of the hire vehicle, but you find yourself in to deep to get out by the time you arrive to collect.
