Absolutely loved this place, such a lovely place to walk around. Seeing where the battle took place was incredible, being able to picture it so vividly. I'd definitely recommend it for a day out especially as a family

Great field where was a battle in 1066 and ruins of a monastery. Lovely lady told me a lot about what happened here.

This was our first visit to an English Heritage site as members, weather was nice which helps. The walk is nice, wont be a problem for mot people but there are some big steps in a couple of places. Staff where very friendly indeed, if we go back we may try to go without the kids so we can do the Audio tour as i heard it was very interesting, felt as though we didn't really learn enough from what is a significant site in our History. Shop had a combination of the usual pelt but also some nice items\\treats to remember the visit. Got told off for using the drone!

It's beautiful and sad at the same time - meant to be a monastery. The church, which, no doubt, was magnificent, was destroyed. What remains is beautiful, but let's not forget the abbey was built to atone for the bloodshed. Definitely worth visiting.

Really nice place with as expected lots of historic buildings place etc to visit on site. Loved the munks chamber, the building is amazing. Cafe is Brilliant with all yo need. Staff very helpful and supportive with good COVID guidelines in place. The phone audio tour was also great 10 out of 10 for us. Kids would love it as well

It's at the same site as Battle of HAstings 1066, that is administered by English heritage. We were lucky to have a guide nicely explained about the history and consequences of the battle of Hastings. There is also an audio guide but make sure you ask a member of staff of the password to access it. You have a coffee shop also with limited food options but it's there!
