We booked in my Father-in-law for a helicopter flight for his 65th Birthday. As a former Army helicopter pilot, serving in Northern Ireland, he hadn’t been in a helicopter since leaving the armed forces. While he was nervous, the staff were supportive and very friendly, offering him the chance to have a look around the helicopter and allowing his grandson (my son) to sit in the pilots seat. The club house is also good, offering a good selection of drinks and food. While the flight could have been a little longer for the money, this is a highly recommended facility for those wanting to head into the clouds.
