The Mountain Centre is ideally situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and just a short drive from the town of Brecon. There is ample car parking anf the tea rooms offer a good selection of hot and cold food including full breakfast, lunch and snack menus, along with a range of cakes and desserts. You can also get local beer or wine together with a range of teas, coffees and soft drinks. The shop too is worth a visit and sells maps and guides, along with a number of other interesting books and craft items. There are good toilet facilities and an outdoor seating area with a fabulous view of Pen Y Fan.

Lovely spot. Toilets could have been a little bit cleaner but was super impressed to find that they had a vegan lemon cake! It was delicious!

I used to visit here with my scout group back in the early 70s . I came again with my family 2008 and visired again September the weekend of lockdown 2020. Always gpod to come back to this beautiful atmospheric scenic place .obviously it has had a new transformation since the 70s but still amazing go there you wont be disappointed
