Shocking driving by a Silvey employee this afternoon. Came straight out onto a crossroads, without looking, then he had to slam his brakes on to avoid going into me. Once he had joined the traffic, sat immediately on my rear bumper - not a good advert for the company. Very aggressive driving, considering he was in a liveried vehicle. Reply to your response 21.02.19 It was a white pickup with an IBC in its boot. WN68 (?) driven by a chap. Exiting the road to Kemble to join the main A433 (Ciren to Tetbury Road) around 15:45 ish. I phoned your company and spoke to a colleague, Liam, explaining the situation. He was extremely apologetic regarding the situation. However one question he did ask me, which I couldnt understand why, was: are you known to the driver, or have any dealings with Silvey? (Not anymore after a bad customer service experience but that’s a totally different matter). Liam said that he would ring the driver and ask him to remove his bonnet from my backside!! I also informed Liam that if your driver followed me home I would immediately contact the police. Too be fair, your driver did back completely off.

Would not recommend silvey they are dis organised and unprofessional - no one ever calls you back they don’t turn up multiple times, they make promises they can’t keep and keep stringing you along and due to their catalogue of errors we were left with no oil and therefore no hot water or heating for days with 2 small babies. I will be finding a new company to use who can bother to turn up when they say they will! A 1 star review is generous.
Used this company 5 months ago had reason to complain as the drove over my grass verge and forced open my electric gates they apologised and ask me to give them another try. which I did result was I came home to a strong smell of oil which was from a large oil spill which had gone all over my drive to add more insult they left their dirty cloth's for me to remove and do the clean up. Unbelievable
Dont know what has happened to silvey oil used to be good but now they dont turn up several times & try telling you you werent home but my guess is once you have an account with them you are classed as 3rd rate customers who no longer matter as they already have your money,i have a relative saying same that you are ignored if you pay monthly for your oil so dont set up an account with them.
Something has happened to this company, we have been loyal customers for years and always had good service but now it's gone right out of the window. They have missold us what is known as Betterburn fuel because we run an Aga and we have to have the heating oil with an additive. Unfortunately it did not have sufficient quantity of the additive and choked up the Aga which has resulted in us having to have an engineer out to service it, only five months after it's annual service - extra cost for us and five weeks after Silvey topped up the tank. Silvey didn't want to know - ot our problem\ some snotty oik said. We will not be buying from them ever again and that goes for friends and family. 'Not your problem Silvey' - it's certainly your loss. I would not give them one star - they most certainly are not recommended anymore.
Thank you very much for adding us to a Saturday delivery when we ran out of fuel oil. Amazing Customer service, friendly staff and very understanding delivery driver, will use from now on.
