Excellent and sympathetic service all delivered at a reasonable price. All aspects of the funeral arrangements including flowers printing of orders of service, liaison with church, crematorium and hospital arranged efficiently, , on our behalf. All arrangements delivered within 2 weeks despite COVID restrictions. Very nice chapel of rest at their parlour in Kings Road.

At a sad time it was good to be welcomed by Amanda and Ian and to talk through details of the funeral. The funeral itself couldn't of gone better, with attention to detail, they made it all so easy for us at such a difficult time. Thank you Amanda and Ian.
My Dad sadly passed away on June 7th during the pandemic. Having not lost a parent before I had no idea where to start and nervously called Hyde-Chambers, unsure what to say or what to do. Amanda immediately put me at ease, explained what would need to happen in the next few days and gave me reassurance. I couldn't fault her professionalism, empathy and compassion, especially at a time when we were unable to meet in person due to the circumstances. Even within a couple of phone calls and plenty of professional and personal advice, I already felt more confident and stronger - Amanda really helped me to feel that I was making all the right decisions, without any pressure. She put me in touch with all the right people, made calls to ensure I could offer my Dad the service and burial I wanted and nothing was ever too much trouble. I met Ian when I went to see my Dad at the Chapel of Rest, he did a wonderful job to make Dad look peaceful and relaxed - his many years of experience was very clear and there's no doubt in my mind that he had looked after Dad with respect since he arrived in their care. Working with Hyde-Chambers enabled me to add so many attributes to create a perfectly personal funeral for Dad - they embraced any ideas I had, were extremely supportive and the whole team even wore red ties to represent Dad's favourite colour on the day of the funeral. I couldn't have got through those few weeks without their care, attention and impeccable service. I wouldn't hesitate at recommending this incredible business to anyone.
I lost my dad last October and as you can imagine as a family we were devastated. Ian and Amanda were absolutely amazing. When they came out to us they were so kind and compasionate nothing was too much trouble they sat with us and went through everything they were going to do. My dad was a very special man and he was also a proud man and Ian and Amanda treated him with dignity and respect and that meant an awful lot to us. We went to their establishment a few days later where we sat and they went through all of the options open to us from the funeral itself to the different vessels to keep dads ashes in Amanda even found a company that made jewellery that we could have dads ashes put into and we now all have rings which we cherish. They did everything they could cost wise to fit our budget and their professionalism was second to none I would not hesitate to recommend Ian and Amanda to anyone going through bereavement of a loved one because they truly are two very special people.
