Complete shambles of a company. DO NOT USE. I spent a lot of money on 2 bedrooms, living room and hall stair and landing carpet. Waited ages for a fitting date. Fitters we’re slapdash to say the least (I removed old underlay staples myself. They wouldn’t have bothered) and despite complaining 4 times in store, door bars are still not fitted after about 6 months. I will never use again. Thoroughly dissatisfied.
Fantastic customer experience from the moment I phoned the store and spoke to James to the moment the Fitters finished with the carpet. The finish was fantastic. More than anything, I phoned Carpetworld after being messed around by Carpetright for over two months and James helped me to get my carpet after only one week. James was clear and honest with me about what he could definitely do and what he could potentially do, and gave me options whilst genuinely wanting to make sure he could meet my requirements. The whole experience was fantastic and all of the staff who helped me were helpful and friendly which makes all the difference. I would highly recommend this store and the managers and team and thank you to them for making everything work out for me.
Although we experienced a delay in the fitting of the carpet. We are very pleased with the overall service, quality of carpet and also the fitters have done a first class job. Would have given 5* had the fitting not been delayed, but accept it was outside of their control.
Keen to support local businesses plus urgent requirement for fitting, we were going to order through this company. Glad we didn't as we were being lied to about the range of carpet we were getting (checked online and it's a discontinued range at a fraction of the price quoted). Staff very rude and unhelpful. How they stay open is beyond me. Went to another shop nearby. All arranged in minutes and cheaper. Willing to match any quote given and fitting within a couple of days.
