Fantastic venue in the heart of Derby. My first visit to The Hairy Dog at the weekend and it is somewhere that must never be allowed to close. The staff were friendly and welcoming with a great selection of drinks over two bars. The stage and venue room is a great size and the guys running sound did an amazing job.

A good wholesome rock bar/venue . Strong community, only one like this in Derby.
Very good large ishr venue both to play and watch bands at. Good 'rock' bar too with nice welcoming staff and atmosphere. Parking isn't great if you are a in a band playing there but there is paid parking on the street.
Great music and staff
Became my home away from home in Derby. Friendly staff, from security at the door to the guys and ladies behind the bar. Sad to be returning home far away, but I will see you all again as soon as possible. Many thanks for treating me like a local from day one
